HOW YOU CAN HELP

The Board of Directors- a dedicated group of people who volunteer their time to fulfill the organization’s mission, governs Royal River Conservation Trust. Each director serves on one or more committees, organized around key components of a typical land trust. They are:

Development Committee- helping to raise operational, stewardship, and capital campaign funds

Stewardship Committee- helping care for and monitor real estate interests

Lands Committee- helping reach out to landowners and develop land conservation projects

Governance / Nominating- helping develop organizational policies and identify prospective directors

Finance Committee- advises the Board of Directors on investment strategies

Additionally, since the merger, RRCT is working toward establishing local project committees in various Royal River communities. Working in concert with the Lands Committee, Local Project Committees will help develop land conservation projects through their contacts with landowners and community leaders.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and we are extremely grateful for their good-natured, expert assistance. Every month people generously lend their time and talents to do a variety of important tasks.

Please fill out this survey and return it to us in the mail or attach it to an email if you are interested in getting involved and have an idea for how you can help. We are always looking for people willing to take charge of a discrete volunteer project and make it happen.
