Jared Valenzuela

Jared relocated from California to Maine in 2024, settling in North Yarmouth with his wife, two children, three cats, and a dog. Since moving, he and his family have enjoyed exploring Maine and making it their home. An avid reader and baseball fan, he enjoys hiking and fly fishing in his free time.

With a background in finance, small business management, and human resources, Jared has valued building relationships and achieving shared goals throughout his career. His interest in conservation grew from a connection to the Royal River and from seeing how the river has recovered from its industrial past. He is excited to bring his professional experience and community-minded approach to his work with the conservation trust.
